At the request of Gregg Walker, Walker Family Funeral Services, the family of Ronald David Herron has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.

Ronald was born in Fullerton on 26 October 1950 and entered Eternal Rest at home in Mira Loma on 28 September 2013.

Ronald enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War.

After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Ronald worked as a warehouse foreman for over thirty years.

Ronald is survived by Leigh Ann his wife of many years, and children Danny, Ashleigh and Jesse. He is also survived by his brother Mike and two sisters, Trish and Darlene, and two grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from Walker Funeral Services, Corona to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

Reminder: PGR Staging is the area immediately east of the first turnaround. Park so that your vehicles are facing west, on the right side of the street.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
