The family of Lonny L. Talley has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for his service and military honors at Riverside National Cemetery, it will be our honor to be there.

Lonny L. Talley enlisted in the US Army at 18 yrs old and served for a year until he was honorably discharged due to a back injury.  He would talk about his job in the Army was to drive around high ranking officers from place to place, he felt honored to be selected to do this.

Lonny was a great guy, very outgoing, and becoming a salesman was natural for him.  He made a career of selling cars and loved it.  In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf and softball, and also loved to hunt and fish.  He was a lifelong fan of the Dodgers and the Lakers.

Lonny was a very good friend of PGR members Beth Allen and Candyman, he loved that we ride with the PGR, a big patriot himself, he always had his American Flag on the front of his house. He would tell us stories of how he used to ride before he got ill and could no longer do it.  Candyman is the RC for this mission and will be giving Lonny his last ride to the shelter on his bike.

Lonny is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Bev, two daughters, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Princess.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
