The family of Andrew Jackson Creviston has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard in the honoring of this hero, it would be our honor to do so.
Andrew Jackson (Jack) Creviston liked to be called Jack. His first and middle name were from another well known person and he always felt he had a legacy to carry on. Jack was a very simple person all of his life, and wished that his services would be carried on the same way in the event of his passing.
Jack joined the Navy Oct. 21, 1944 and was discharged on March 10,1952. While he was in the Navy he served aboard the U.S.S. Collette and the U.S.S. Duleth.
In that time he saw much action earning himself : WWII Victory Medal, America Area Metal, Navy Unit Commodation Ribbon, Korean Service Medal /w3 stars, United Nations Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal and the Navy Occupation Medal. Jack also served on LST 1086 and numerous Construction Battalions discharging in San Diego, Calif. at the Rank of Fireman 1st. Class.
Jack was a master mechanic and worked for LA County for 20 yrs. after discharge from the Navy. He repaired fire trucks and buses. He also was an accomplished pilot and became an IFR instructor for pilots learning to fly. In his spare time he built race cars, and played with go carts. He also became a full fledged member of the Southern California HOG Chapter out of Los Angeles Harley-Davidson of Anaheim and helped many people.
Jack is survived by his son Thomas, Step Son Gary, and Step Daughter, Linda, and his Great Niece Allyce. Jacks wife Dorothy preceded him in death in 2006.
Let's help honor this hero from the "Greatest Generation" that helped to pave our way to freedom.
Note: Because of the family honoring Jacks request of no Frills we will be doing a flag line into the church only.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
