!! STAND DOWN - Riverside National Cemetery will not allow a service/Flag Line for this type of interment, we will have to STAND DOWN !!

The family of Alexander Wolofski Jr., has requested the Patriot Guard to honor their Hero with a Patriot Guard Flag Line at Riverside National Cemetery (RNC). It will be our honor to do so.

Alexander Wolofski was born on September 21, 1933 passed away in 2008, and was interred in Florida with Full Military Honors. Beverly, his wife, was born on August 11, 1936. Alexander and Beverly were married for 54 years. They lived in Florida at the time of Alexander's passing and he was buried in a National Cemetery in Florida.  Two years ago Beverly became ill and needed help and her daughters moved her out here to California so they could care for her.  It was the wish of this couple to be buried together, so they arranged to have Alexander moved from the cemetery in Florida to be re-interred with his wife Beverly who just recently passed, this will be a double interment.

Alexander served in the U.S. Air Force from 12/19/1952 to 12/18/1956 in the Korean War, and rose to the rank of A1C by the time he was honorably discharged.

After his military service Alexander worked as a hydraulic engineer for McDonald Douglas. He later worked as Vice President for Magna Engineering. He enjoyed playing and watching golf and was a Shriner and Mason.

He is survived by two siblings Jeanette Bender and Richard. Alexander and Beverly are survived by 3 children Janet, Karen, and Christine. They also had 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Because full Military Honors have already been performed for Alexander in Florida, our participation will be to honor the Hero with a Flag Line as he is interred with his wife at RNC in a Columbarium.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
