Hi, Beth! My fingers have finally warmed up enough so that I can type again!! Victorville in December does not seem like Southern California!! 42 degrees with a 30 mph wind!! Egad!
I met Craig at the funeral. The Patriot Guard did a fabulous job! The weather was awful, but hang in there they did! The services were certainly boosted by their presence!
Later in the evening, the Mom came to me, gave me a big hug, and thanked the Patriot Guard for being there. The family was mightily impressed with the escort and the flags. Craig did a great job of talking to Mom after the flag ceremony.
I wish I could thank all of the Guard who attended personally. Please pass on my thanks.
