On Wednesday, 27 January 2021, four (4) American Heroes will be honored at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.

The four (4) Veterans being transported by the Los Angeles County Coroner are:

Duncan  Scott      70       U.S. Army
Carl  Hobby         90       U.S. Army
Ronald  Culey      86       U.S. Army
Bobby Williams   73        U.S. Army

We will also be honoring our friend and Veterans Without Family/ PGR member Richard Lindner, 77, U.S. Army. Richard passed away in December but with this Pandemic that we are suffering was a Direct Burial on 16 December 2020. He was a Specialist4 in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne. He also served in the Redlands Fire Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Richard was one of the original members of the Patriot Guard Riders in California and also an original member of Veterans Without Family.

Rest in peace brother Richard, we have the watch now.

We will also recognize those veterans that have been brought to Riverside National Cemetery within the past week for direct burial without final honors.

The PGR will be there to be the family for these veterans and will stand by while military honors are rendered by the California National Guard Honor Team at Riverside National Cemetery.

May the souls of these Veterans rest in peace beneath the green carpet of grass in a Nation they helped to keep free.

They are not alone, we are their family.

“If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days,
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,
Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.”

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.

Please observe all previously designated COVID-19 Rules.
