Robert Anthony Revetta,73, USA ,San Diego, Ca. – 1 April, 2021

The family of Sergent Robert Revetta has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

“Rob” joined the Army in 1966 and served for close to 3 years before his honorable discharge. He was stationed in Korea and at Ft. Hood, Texas. He was a sharp shooter and a light and heavy truck transport driver.

After Rob’s discharge he became a lifelong plumber. He worked for his father for a short time & then went on to work for Ca. nuclear power plant in San Onofre. He then worked over 20 years for San Diego Unified School District as a kitchen and cafeteria specialist.

Throughout his life he rode motorcycles, played softball, and he liked to bowl. He took many cruises, did deep sea fishing off the coast of British Columbia multiple times, and enjoyed race car events. He was a HUGE Charger fan. He attended the Miramar Airshow 44 years in a row. Like his father he was a member of the Elks Lodge in El Cajon for over 56 years. At the lodge he volunteered on almost a daily basis. He received the “Elk of the year award”.

He was a personal friend of Santa Tom & Santa Ken. He also made a donation to help build the PGR trailer. Just a hardworking nice man.

He is survived by his sister Nancy, his son Mark, daughter Christine, and 2 grandsons, all of which he was very proud of.

The family is asking for the PGR to ride with them from the elks lodge to Miramar National Cemetery

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Elks Lodge to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
