The family of Taj Jervon Ellis, 46, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the service of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It is our honor to do so.

Taj proudly entered and served with the United States Navy from 28 July 1997 until 27 July 2001. At the time of his discharge, he was an E4 Aviation Boatswain's Mate. He earned the Expert Rifle Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

Taj was born on 20 February 1975 and passed away from a train accident while working as a Conductor for Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway 03 March 2021. He worked for BNSF Railway as a Conductor for 8 years. He loved his Hayabusa motorcycle and riding with his club, All American Riders. He loved American classic cars and American muscle cars. He was a foodie and enjoyed cooking for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Trinity Wallace-Ellis; his mother, Diane Ellis; son, Taj Nasir; daughter, Aysia Elizabeth; twin granddaughters, two nieces and a nephew.
