Part 2 of 2 Parts

The family of Firefighter Efren Medina, age 20, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be at the funeral services and accompany him to his final resting place, we will be honored to do so.

Efren Medina was just 20 years old and had always dreamed of becoming a Firefighter.  He just recently graduated from the academy and passed his fitness tests and became one.  On his first shift with St Mary's Fire Department in Southeast Georgia, he and his team went out for a call, came back to the station, went to sleep, and he was found later unresponsive.

Efren was a wonderful brother, son, husband, and friend to all. He was very caring, cheerful, and hardworking. Efren was dedicated to working towards becoming a fireman and selflessly helping others also being an EMT.

Efren is survived by his wife Brittany, his parents, siblings and other family members.
