The wife of Gary N. Moore has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders attend his service and honor him.  It would be our great privilege to do so.

Gary Norman Moore, age 65, enlisted in the U.S. Navy on August 01, 1969 and served in Vietnam until the end of that war.  He received his honorable discharge at the rank of PH3 (E4) on July 31, 1975.  He suffered for many years from the effects of Agent Orange, 13 years ago he had a heart bypass, and subsequently 6 strokes that left him unable to work, eventually resulting in his left leg being amputated.

Gary was a tradesman that worked his whole civilian life in the construction trades and was a lifelong patriot.  He was also a surfer in his younger years and loved the ocean.  In later years he loved spending time with the other Vets at the VA Hospital, and with his children and grandchildren and those he called his 'other grandchildren', kids who didn't have a grandfather in their lives, he became theirs.

Gary is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cheri, his daughter Maria Izzo and his son Kennith Moore, and 6 grandchildren.

NOTE:  This service is just before another service already scheduled just around the corner from RNC at East Hills Community Church with a staging time of 1330, if you are able, you could easily attend both missions as the staging for this one is 1230 and should conclude by 1330.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember to post your condolences for the family to this link:
