We have been invited by the family of Steven Miles Davis, USN, to honor their Hero at his service at Riverside National Cemetery, it will be our privilege to do so.

Steven M. Davis enlisted in the U.S. Navy in March, 1967 and served until being honorably discharged in December, 1970.  During his time in the Navy he served in Vietnam and received the Vietnam service medal with 2 bronze stars and the Republic of Vietnam service medal.  A high point of his career in the Navy was being selected as personal body guard for Miss Ann Margaret when she was on board his ship, the USS John Paul Jones.

After his Navy service, Steven worked at the San Onofre nuclear power plant for 15 yrs as a security guard, and later became a bus driver for the San Diego transit bus line.  He was a huge Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed Benny Hill's comedy and Bruce Lee movies, and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Steven is survived by his mother, Shirley Davis, his two daughters, Tammy Davis and Roxanne Zambrano, a brother, a sister and 4 grandchildren.
