Part 1 of 2 Parts

The family of A1C Elias D. Solis, age 21, and the US Air Force have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary as he arrives home, we will be honored to do so.

A1C Elias Solis was serving with the US Air Force at Travis AFB in Northern California at the time of his untimely passing.  He was assigned to the 60th Medical Support Squadron.

Elias was the type of guy who was able to light up a room the minute he walked into it, you just felt the energy flow off of him. He was bright, caring, funny, adventurous, loving, and just an all around guy. He brought a smile to everyone's face he came across. He was the first person to offer a helping hand whenever someone needed it, the person you could go to for advice or just to have a good conversation about almost anything. He was the guy that always wanted to be out and about hiking, riding his skateboard or surfboard, and was up for any adventure that came across.

He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend. Elias is survived by family, friends, and his fellow Airmen who are experiencing a painful loss. Elias has touched lives in so many ways his infectious smile, and outgoing personality will never be forgotten.
