The family of SGT James Jesse De La Cruz, 29, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one at his Services. We are honored to accept this invitation.  We will accompany our Hero and his family from Hesperia, CA (Oak Hills) to Riverside National Cemetery.

SGT De La Cruz joined the Army in November 2007 and had been assigned since October 2008 to Fort Hood’s 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Fires Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division.

He deployed to Iraq from February 2009 to February 2010 and from July 2011 to December 2011.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the family residence to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

We encourage members to go to Hesperia on this mission to accompany our Hero and his family to RNC but for those of you who are unable to do that or prefer to meet at RNC we are forming a Flag Line at the gate of RNC for the arrival of this mission.  Please meet at the gate at 1200 for arrival of approximately 1230.

1100 - KSU To family residence approximately 3 Miles.

1115 - Flag line as our Hero is brought out to awaiting vehicle.

1230 - Estimate arrival at Riverside National Cemetery, PGR to staging area 8

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
