The family of Isidro "Cid" Pinedo Valles has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Vietnam hero for his service to this country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Isidro "Cid" P. Valles, 67, was born on December 03, 1950 and passed away 25 August, 2018.

Cid Valles proudly served this country in the United States Army from June, 1970 until his honorable discharge in January, 1972.  Cid was sent off to fight in the Vietnam War, where he was trained as a heavy truck driver. He had attained the rank of SP4 by the time his service was completed.

After he was discharged from the Army, Cid worked for LA County as a mail carrier. A change of career choice came after LA County into the Automotive Industry to work at Volkswagen then a Ford dealer. Cid proudly retired from Bob Wondries Ford in Alhambra in 2017. The dealer and coworkers were his second family. He took great pride in working for Bob Wondries.

Cid enjoyed the outdoors, doing archery, loved sports and was an avid Dodgers and Miami Dolphins fan. Cid was quiet and serious to all but his family, where he was loving, wise and liked to joke around.  He loved watching movies with his family, especially horror films.

Cid leaves behind his wife of 40 years who he knew for 52 yrs, Matilda “Tilly” Valles, two children Belinda and Isidro, and two grandchildren Vanessa Hipolito and Antonio Valles. He also is survived by his mother Maria Valles and sister Adela Valles.
