The family of Jesus “Jesse” Collaso has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Jesse was born in El Paso, Texas on 28 June 1938 and enter into Eternal Rest on 04 March 2019.

Jesse enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1958 and was stationed in different areas, including Japan. He was honorably discharged in 1962 as an Airman First Class (A1C).

After the military he returned home where he met his wife of fifty-four years, Mercedes. They were married in 1964 and raised four children in the city of Alhambra.

Jesse was incredible at figuring things out and had an artist-level of craftsmanship. From making tools at work to repairs at his house or one of his kids’ houses to fixing cars.

Jesse worked for Lockheed for thirty-six years where he moved up from being a mock-up man to planning supervisor. He retired in 1999 to spend more time enjoying his grandkids.

Jesse is survived by his wife Mercedes and children Anjanette, Jeff, and Ameelynn. He also leaves behind three brothers, two sisters and seven grandchildren.
