Officer Ramirez joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008 and was last assigned to Pacific Area. During her tenure, she worked in patrol, detectives and community relations. Officer Ramirez has two cousins on the Department.
Officer Ramirez passed away 9 JUN 19 after surgery to repair injuries she suffered when her patrol car was struck by another vehicle in 2015. She was surrounded by her family and friends in her final hours.
Officer Ramirez served the citizens and the Department with honor, integrity, and pride.
Officer Ramirez is survived by her three adult children.
