!!!UPDATE TIME TABLE!!!ADDITION OF ARRIVAL TIME/SHELTER TIME AT RNC!!!

The family of Lawrence Calvin Welch has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the services of this Korean, and WWII war hero.
It would be our distinct honor to honor this American Hero.
After graduating High School Lawrence entered the United States Navy. He served from 1941 - 1945 and again from 1949 - 1953 as a radio operator RD1 (T).  He served his time on a mine sweeper and a destroyer in WWII and Korea.
During that time Lawrence received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
After his time in the service Lawrence went back to school at Cal State Fullerton and got his bachelors degree and later got a job working in the aerospace industry. Lawrence worked for 35 yrs. with  North American, Rockwell, and Boeing.
In his off time he loved to go camping with his family and working on cars.
Lawrence is survived by his 2 sons, Timothy C. Welsh, and Gregory L. Welch (also a PGR brother). There are also 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
