The family of Donald Gene Jamison, 83, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Military honors for their Hero. It will be our honor to do so.

Donald served in the U.S. Army from May 13, 1953 to April 20, 1958 achieving the rank Cpl. Donald fought in the Korean War, doing patrols in a helicopter.  Like many combat Veterans he did not like talking about his service so little is known on what he did, but the important part is that he served honorably and that is why we will honor him.

After Donald completed his military service he worked for Coca-Cola and retired.  After his retirement from Coca-Cola he worked with his son at Jamison Engineering for several years.  Donald enjoyed fishing, golfing, baby sitting, camping, traveling and arguing with his wife.

Donald is survived by his wife Marilyn Joanne Jamison, his siblings Cleo, Audrey and Cecil.  His children Kathie Renee, Donald, Tonya, Danny and Dana.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.
