The family of PFC Shane T. Golden, 23, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the airport to the mortuary as he arrives home for his funeral services.  We will be honored to do so.

PFC Shane Golden enlisted in the US Marine Corps in March of 2021 and was serving at the Marine Corps Barracks in Washington, DC providing security for our country's Capitol at the time of his unexpected passing.

He was an incredible young man proudly serving his country, and is survived by many loving family members, friends, and his fellow Marine family.  He will not be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and her family from the airport to the mortuary, approx 35 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.
