PART 2 OF 2UPDATE: Staging will take place at the CHURCH listed below and not at the funeral home. The United States Army and family of Christopher Castillo, 23, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany their hero from the church to his final resting place for full military honors. We are privileged to participate.
Christopher Castillo, born on June 16, 2002, in Lynwood, California, was a shining example of courage, friendliness, and a life lived with purpose and passion. On October 14, 2025, Christopher's journey on this earth came to an end in El Paso, Texas.
He was a beloved son to Norinda and Victor, a cherished brother to Christina, and a loving grandson to Gloria Corona. He is preceded in death by his brother, Christian.
In his 23 years, Christopher lived a life full of service and dedication to others. He proudly served his country in the US Army out of Ft Bliss with the 93D Military Police Battalion for the last three years, where he demonstrated the true spirit of patriotism. Christopher's commitment to his nation was unwavering, and his fondness for firearms was matched by his deep respect for the responsibilities they entailed.
Christopher was a lover of video games, an avid reader, a strategic chess player, and an enthusiast of table games. He had a passion for hiking and being immersed in nature. Christopher's musical tastes spanned several languages and genres, with a special place in his heart for classics. His intellectual curiosity was showcased in his love for studying history, particularly the World Wars.
He was a spiritual soul, finding comfort and guidance in his faith. Christopher's love for pizza was well-known among his friends and family, a simple pleasure that brought him joy.
