UPDATE: A GAS STATION STOP HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TIMETABLE. PLEASE SEE TIMETABLE BELOW FOR ADDITION. The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to accompany Michael P. Flowers, along with the American Legion Riders Post 311 out of Lancaster, on his final journey and attend his military honors. It is our privilege to fulfill their request.
Michael served with the United States Marine Corps and with one tour in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device. He was also awarded a Purple Heart Medal.
Michael is survived by his sister, Vickie, who lives out of state is unable to attend his service.
NOTE: Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. This accompaniment from Lancaster to RNC is approximately 88 miles one way. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
