The family of Robert Lee Broussard has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Robert Lee Broussard was born on May 5, 1932, and entered his eternal rest on September 9, 2025, he was 93 years old. He served in the United States Marine Corp, February 1951 – February 1954. Private Broussard sustained a shrapnel wound while in North Korea earning him the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal with 2 Stars and the U.N. Service Medal and Ribbon
Robert and his wife settled in San Diego, and he became an IBEW Electrical lineman, using his skills Bob was on the ground assisting in numerous disaster relief efforts here and across the Caribbean! Downtown Bob as he was known at his VFW post, was down to earth, just “Good Folk”. Loved spending time with his family and friends. Bob is survived by his wife Donna, their daughter Debra, 1 grandchild and one great grandchild.

You do not have to be a Veteran or ride a motorcycle to attend this mission. ALL PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first Mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (R/C). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (Car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our Mission is to stand tall and silent, with Honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking and please silence and don’t use your Cell phones during the flag line and service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15-mph speed limit. Remember Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
