The family of Grant Barclay Hudlow, 82, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Grant Hudlow proudly served his country in the United States Army from April 1960 to 1962, and continued in the Army Reserves until May of 1965.  Grant volunteered for his service after obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cal Tech.  During his service he was a Field Artillery Unit Commander and worked on advanced howitzer based weapon systems.  At the time of his discharge Grant had attained the rank of First Lieutenant (1LT).

After his service to his country, Grant worked for Fairchild Semiconductor in their defense group, and later was plant manager for a Wafer Fabrication Plant.

Grant is survived by two sons Gandalf and Tharkun, and one grandson Stryder.

The family has requested an accompaniment from Allen Brothers Mortuary in Vista to Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 35 miles.  So, please bring your large motorcycle flags.

Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome, please see the time table below.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
