The family of Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Devon Rideout has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for her service to her country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

HM3 Devon Rideout, 24, of Sacramento, served her country in the US Navy.   She was living in Oceanside and stationed at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton while studying to become a therapist for those injured in combat and struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Sadly, this young hero who had devoted much of her short life to serving her country and helping others was shot and killed at her apartment complex in Oceanside.

The family has requested the PGR be present as this hero begins her final journey home.  Our PGR brothers and sisters in Sacramento have been notified and will be there to honor this hero upon her arrival.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

Time Table for Saturday, 28 JULY 2018:
0530 - Stage at Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary, 333 N Vine St, Fallbrook, CA 92028 https://goo.gl/maps/B3pmikf1kj82
