The family and the United States Coast Guard have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to bring this young man home. It will be our Honor to do so.
Joshua Eberhardt was born in Lompoc Calif. on July 15, 1999. Joshua was always the light that lit up the families days and friends that he hung out with.
When Joshua joined the Coast Guard and later was assigned to the USCGC Vigilant (WMEC-617) a United States Coast Guard medium endurance cutter, the crew welcomed him with open arms.
When Joshua was on the watch his buddy and friend could not wait to run the watch with him.
Joshua attained the rank of MK3. (Machinist Technician 3rd Class) in his short time with the Coast Guard.
On August 21,2019 Joshua was involved in a motorcycle accident along with his friend Kevin.
Both of the brother Coasties succumbed to their injuries.
Joshua put up a valiant fight to survive his injuries but Joshua passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Melbourne, Florida.
Joshua fought for 8 days. His favorite number was 8. Joshua's name was Loco Ocho on the football team for which he was the Quarter back.
Joshua remained a Hero till the end. He had just recently updated his Medical Request for Organ Donors when he was stationed in Florida.
Joshua even at the end, his organ donor release has helped 8 people.
His Mom said even in the end he is still helping people.
Joshua leaves behind his Mother: Veronica, Father: Joey, Younger brother Mason and many family members, and friends

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
