PART 2 OF A 2-PART MISSION

The family and the United  States Coast Guard have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to be with them as this young man makes his final journey. It will be our Honor to do so.

Joshua Eberhardt was born in Lompoc Calif. on July 15, 1999. Joshua was always the light that lit up the families days and friends that he hung out with.

When Joshua joined the Coast Guard and later was assigned to the USCGC Vigilant  (WMEC-617)  a United States Coast Guard medium endurance cutter. the crew welcomed him with open arms.

When Joshua was on the watch his buddy and friend could not wait to run the watch with him.

Joshua attained the rank of MK3. ( Machinist Technician 3rd Class) in his short time with the Coast Guard.

On August 21,2019 Joshua was involved in a motorcycle accident along with his friend Kevin.

Both of the brother Coasties succumbed to their injuries.

Joshua put up a valiant fight to survive his injuries but Joshua passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Melbourne, Florida.

Joshua fought for 8 days. His favorite number was 8. Joshua's name was Loco Ocho on the football team for which he was the Quarter back.

Joshua remained a Hero till the end. He had just recently updated his Medical Request for Organ Donors when he was stationed in Florida.
