The family of Morris West has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Morris West, 71 years old, served his country in the Army from 1969 to 1972. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the Vietnam campaign medal & the Vietnam service medal. He was honorably discharged 14 April, 1972. He was an airplane repairman while serving. At the time of his discharge he had achieved the rank of SP4.

Upon leaving the Army, he went to work for TWA Airlines, then Lockheed, then United Airlines for a total of 31 years as a repairman.

Morris married Brenda (his wife) in 1977, they had one daughter Casandra. They met at United Airlines where she also worked. He was a very dedicated Dad & Husband. He was also a personal friend of the ride captain Ken Brassell.

After retiring he liked playing golf, playing cards, and playing pool, and chess. He was very good at chess. He was also a member of the Elks lodge & the Moose lodge.
