The family of Frank Xavier Marcial , 67, Major USAF Aux CAP have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend services and military honors. It is our honor to do so.
Frank was born 10 August 1952 and passed away on 21 January 2020.
Frank joined the Army National Guard in the seventies as a Combat Engineer Specialist E-4 until his discharge in 1976. Frank always wondered why his boot camp buddies went to Vietnam but he was chosen to stay stateside. Frank stood able and willing but never was called into combat. He remained a true patriot.
Frank and his family donated to and he is a founding member of the Army Museum which is opening this June. Frank was also in charge of Wreaths Across America in years past at the LA National Cemetery. Frank knew and admired many of our PGR brothers. Pop Pop arranged an Honor Ride for his Marine son when he arrived home from a deployment in Iraq. Frank was also part of a group that built the Wilderness Park in Torrance, Ca. Frank was serving with the USAF AUX CAP as a Major where his general aviation pilot license allowed him to participate in Search and Rescue Missions for downed aircraft in Southern California.
Frank is survived by his wife of 34 years Carolyn. His children, Joshua and his wife Jennifer, Ashley, and Jeanelle and her husband Mark. His Grandchildren, Michael, James, Jocelyn Max, Madison, Matthew, Ashley,Callie, Jackson and Lily. He is also survived by his brother Ronald.
He was loved by many and known as a patriotic man. We will honor Frank’s memory for his service to our country.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
