The family of MS1 John Wesley Wright III has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

John Wright served his country for 20 years in the US Navy.  At the time of his discharge in 2004 he had attained the rank of Mess Management Specialist Petty Officer 1st Class (MS1).

John is survived by his daughter and his son.

This mission comes to us from PGR member Mike Medrano.  Mike and John were friends and roommates.

The family has requested an accompaniment from the Santee home where John and Mike lived to a 1030 committal service at Miramar National Cemetery.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from his home to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
