The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to honor this American Hero. It would be our privilege to do so.

Mike served in the United States Navy from August, 1953 until his honorable discharge August 1955. At the time of his separation from active duty he was rated as AE3, Aviation Private 3rd Class, now known as an Aviation Electrician's Mate.

Following his service to his country Mike became a general contractor and specialized in building individual custom homes. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed maintaining and collecting antique firearms.

Sadly, Mike passed away in November of 2020 following a stroke that occurred in September of that year. He was cremated at that time and his family now feels it's safe to gather from around the country to honor their hero.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Virginia, known by all as "Cookie", son Michael Williams, and daughters Diana Carter and Cynthia Hartshorn. He also survived by three adult grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

NOTE: Covid-19 restrictions may still apply.  Please have face coverings/masks available, if needed.

NOTE!! WARM TEMPS!! Bring water and cover your skin. Thank you for your participation.
