The family of Michael Lee Morrow (Lee), 36, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Lee served as a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman from 2000-2011. During his time in the Navy, he served 3 tours in Iraq, with the last one being an honorary tour.

Lee received several accolades while in the Navy, including the Presidential Unit Citation, the Good Conduct Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

At the time of his discharge Lee had attained the rank of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (HM2).

Lee is survived by his parents his sister and his brother and an extended family.

Lee’s family has requested the PGR stand a Flag Line at his service on Shelter Island as he receives his Final Honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
