The family of Specialist Peter Lopez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him for his service to our country. It would be our honor to do so.

SPC Lopez, 25, served his country in the California Army National Guard (CANG).   He was attached to the 314th Military Intelligence Battalion, 648th Regional Support Group, San Diego.

Sadly, this hero passed while on active duty.

The PGR has been invited to accompany SPC Lopez from the church service to his final resting place and be present when he receives Military Honors.   It is with heavy heart and boundless reverence that we do so.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero from the church to the cemetery for his funeral service and military honors. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.   For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
