The family of John M. Grudynski Jr. has invited Patriot Guard Riders to attend his services and honor him, and it will be our privilege to do so.

John served in the U. S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Region during WWII and also in Korea during the Korean Conflict in 1950.  Showing his strong dedication to his country, he enlisted in the Corps in 1942, a week before graduating high school.  He later received his GED equivalent.  He was discharged from the Corps in 1952 with the rank of Sergeant.

In civilian life he was employed by GE for 30 years as the head of Trouble Shooting.  John was a dedicated volunteer for his church and in various community affairs.  He served as a coach for his children in all three sports and was truly considered a great dad by them.

John is survived by his wife of 66 years, Katherine; Children Gail Ann and John III, and three grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.
