The family of Ramon Rodriquez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service and military honors of their loved one.  It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

Ramon served in the United States Army from July 2007-July 2015. During that period he was deployed twice to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2010. At the time of his Honorable discharge he held the rank of Sergeant (E5).

Ramon and his wife, Sonia (an Army veteran who severed two tours in Iraq) were married for 14 years. They met and married while stationed at Ft. Bragg. His last duty station was in San Antonio Texas. Following his service to America they relocated to his home town of Fontana, CA.

In California our hero joined the  Ironworkers union. Two years later he joined IBEW Local 47 and became a Journeyman Power Lineman. Sadly he lost his life while working the job that he loved and to which he gave 100%. Off the job he enjoyed cooking and grilling with family and friends, going to the range to shoot, and camping. Ramon loved his tequila and brandy, and his idea of a perfect night would be watching a movie with Sonia and their kids. His pride and joy was a Chevy S10 and he loved working on it.

Our hero is survived by his wife, Sonia, their children Raymond Baldwin (16), Izabella Akemi Rodriquez (11), and Ramon O. Rodriquez III (3). He also leaves behind his parents, Ramon Andrade and Cruz Ortega Rodriquez. Ramon will also be missed by his siblings, George, Reyna, Irene, Nancy and Maricruz.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes.  No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service.  Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.  Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground.  Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
