ROSE HILLS Memorial Park & Mortuary is celebrating Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day on March 22, 2015.  Included in this celebration, they are honoring 4 Veterans that  have recently passed away and are  without family.  Rose Hills has requested the PGR join them in this memorial, It will be our honor to do so.
 

The service will be held at Sky Rose Chapel in the Cemetery grounds.  The Sky Rose Chapel is at the top of the hill on the left hand side, just follow the road as you enter the cemetery.
 

There will be a resource fair, BBQ, and concert celebration in the cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on that day, then at 6 p.m. the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans service will begin in the Sky Rose Chapel parking lot.
 

The Patriot Guard Riders along with the California Honor Guard will participate in the folding of the flags for the Veterans without family that will be honored on the day.  The Patriot Guard Riders will also be pallbearers for these heroes and escort them from the chapel at the end of the service.
 

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these military veterans.  If you would like to participate, please see time table below.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in you car.  if this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
