The family of Floyd Hubert has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders as he is put to rest and completes his journey of life. We are honored to be there for this hero and his family.

Floyd served in the US Air Force for 7+ years from 1961-1968 as a records clerk. During his tour in Vietnam, Floyd flew in fixed wing aircraft and rode in Huey's all over the country to make sure we got what was most precious to us all, the Mail! He attained the rank of Sergeant prior to his honorable discharge. While in country Floyd was exposed to Agent Orange and as a result suffered from Diabetes and Parkinson's disease which after fighting for a decade, took his life.

Floyd's hobbies and interests included RV vacations, Jeep outings with friends, collecting Eagle statues, belt buckles and knives.

He is survived by his wife, Gail, sons Chris and Richard and their families and step sons Stuart and Keith and their families. Our mission R/C, Billy Morgan was a close friend and visited with Floyd at least twice weekly in an assisted living facility from January of this year until his passing on May 24.

This is a Combat Related death so there will be dog tags.

Please hydrate properly as it will be warm.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the family home to the venue. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
