The family of SF1 Albert Joseph Chouinard has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Al was 94 years old, he served his country in the US Navy. He served from April 17, 1942 to December 14, 1961 when he retired. Rank at time of retirement was Shipfitter First Class (SF1). Al was another WWII and Korea hero. A member of our greatest generation.

When Al left the Navy he went to work for National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. NASSCO, as a pipe fitter.

He enjoyed golfing, stamp collecting, and attending Padres & Chargers games.
