The Patriot Guard Riders have again been invited to participate in Rancho Cucamonga’s Annual Founder’s Day Parade.

Those who have attended or participated in the past are aware that the parade is extremely well attended, although short in length through the streets of Victoria Gardens.  By request, the PGR will participate as the first unit in the parade.  Our group commitment will therefore end before 0900, with the option to go our separate ways, or stick around to enjoy the parade.

Time Table for Saturday 08 NOV 14:

0645 - Stage near Richie’s Diner at the north-west corner of Interstate 15 and Foothill Blvd.  (Richie’s, Taco Bell, and Chevron gas)  approx map link:  http://goo.gl/maps/ESVaS

0710 - Form the order of march

0712 - Briefing and KSU for parade staging

0715 - Line up of parade participants on North Main Street in Victoria Gardens.

0830 – Start of parade

If you’re unable to meet us at Richie’s:  Talk your way into the parade staging area by saying that you’re with the Patriot Guard and are Entry Number 1.  We will be staging on North Main Street, eastbound, near the Cheesecake Factory.  You’ll need to come in from the south on Monticello Avenue.

A few decorated cages are strongly encouraged!  This is another opportunity to display the diversity of PGR members and the vehicles in which they participate… that there are no limitations other than respect.  Patriotic or military attire would certainly be appropriate, as would decorated bikes.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission, go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.
