The family of Robert L. Pierce, 91, USA, WWII VET, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor their loved one on his final Journey.  We are honored to accept this invitation. 

Mr. Pierce, served in the United States Army during WWII and was also part of the Battle of the Bulge.  Mr. Pierce worked in the Defense industry for over 35 Years.  A story the family told us, is that he was well known for stopping a a train in France during the war, waking up the Colonel at 0100 Hrs so that he could make needed adjustments on the train.  Mr. Pierce was also part of the Company that met the Russians in France at the River Elbe Tuogrue two days before the end of the war. 

Mr. Pierce is survived by his sons, Timothy, Tom, his daughter, Kathleen, 4 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granchild.

1030 - KSU to assigned shelter for Services and Military Honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
