!! UPDATE/NEW MORTUARY LOCATION FOR FINAL DESTINATION BELOW !!

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family and the US Army to honor their Hero, SSG James G. Perez, it will be our honor to do so.

SSG James Gregory Perez, 28, known as "JP" to his friends, served in the US Army proudly for 8 years as a Army Ranger.  He served multiple deployments and was injured in combat and recovered.  At the time of his passing he was attached to 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment out of Ft Benning, GA.

He was admired and respected by his fellow Rangers for his smarts and his bravery, and was well liked for his spirit and character.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Part 1 of this mission will consist of the Hero's arrival home to his family in Southern California, and an accompany of approximately 90 miles to the funeral home in Indio.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
