UPDATE: STAGING AREA CHANGE BELOW

The Patriot Guard has been asked by the family of this American Hero to take part in paying final Honors. It will be our privilege to do so.

James was born on October 27, 1942, and passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017.

James joined the US Navy on November 1964 and proudly served 6 years until November of 1970. During that time of distinguished career he attained the rank of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class ( HM2)

During James' deployment in Vietnam he served with the Marine Unit 3rd Battalion, 4 Marine unit. While serving in Country he was awarded the purple Heart 3 different times. March 6, 1967, March 20,1967, and May 18, 1967.

Unfortunately James was also exposed to Agent Orange.

When James got out of the Navy James went to work with the Orange County Register where he was Manager of Single Copy Sales.

After James retired from there he started doing what he loved best... Hobbies. James loved attending car shows with his 1956 Torch Red Ford Thunderbird.   James was also an avid coin collector.

James also became a member of the American Legion Post 132 in Orange, and later transferred over to post 291 in Newport Beach.

On Saturday August 5, 2017 James passed away from the effects of Agent Orange.

James is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 40 + years, his brother: John, Children:  Bill, Stacy, Julie,  Laura,
and 6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
