The family of James Ross Sanders, 70, invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral services and military honors. We are honored to accept this invitation.

James Sanders served in the United States Navy from 1966-1971 as a Machinist Mate Third Class.  James served most of his time on the USS Chipola #63 in the boiler room. The USS Chipola was a oiler that kept the fleet fueled up during Vietnam War.  During his time in the Navy James received the Apollo 10 Recovery Accommodation for his role of helping re-fuel the USS Princeton the ship that recovered the pod.  James was proud to serve his Country.

James in his civilian life worked for the Aerospace Industry for 38 years, then he worked for California Steel Industries since 2004, retiring in June of 2017.

James Ross Sanders was born on August 9, 1947 and entered Eternal rest on April 17, 2018 leaving behind his wonderful wife Sheri of 32 years. He is survived by his two daughters Patti Coulter and Pamela Sanders as well as two bonus children a son Charles Parcher and Corrinna Moody. James is also survived by his siblings Judi, Pat, John and Jeanette.  Lastly but not least he leaves behind 8 grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
