The Patriot Guard Riders are honored the family of James Nelson Ellis invites us to participate in his funeral services and military honors, we are privileged to do so.

James was born 12 JUN 57 and attended Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA. James enlisted in the Navy in September 1974 and worked as a pipefitter aboard the USS Coral Sea. James was honorably discharged in 1977.

James was married to his high school sweetheart Kendell and raised four children. After his military service, James worked for Beckman Instruments and Toro Irrigation. James loved to work with wood, owning and operating Artists in Wood. As well as wood working, James loved camping, fishing, hunting, and offroading.

Sadly, after a long illness, James passed away at the age of 62.

James is survived his loving wife, Kendell; sons, Brad, Christopher, and Jared; daughter, Kimberly; brothers, Bill and Richard Ellis; sister, Rosemary Ellis-Robinson and 3 grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
