The family of Irving Spector has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Irving joined the U.S. Marine Corps on 14 October 1948 and was honorably discharged as a Corporal on 13 October 1951. While serving in Korea, he was a part of the Inchon Landing and a survivor of the Chosin Reservoir.

After leaving the Marine Corps Irving became a Civil Engineer for the City of Los Angeles. Towards the end of his life, he volunteered to help Wounded Warriors at Camp Pendleton. He helped them mend their combat injuries by being a mentor.

Irving is survived by his wife Norma and his son GySgt Ernesto Aquino, U.S. Marine Corps Retired.

The family has asked the PGR to ride with them as a group from Oceanside to Miramar National Cemetery.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).
