The US Army and the family of SGT Erik E. Rodriguez, 29 yrs old, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be there when this Hero arrives home, and for his funeral services.  We will be honored to be there.

SGT Erik E. Rodriguez proudly served in the US Army and was deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom where he served with the 82nd Airborne from 2009 to 2011.  At the time of his recent passing he was stationed in Hawaii and attached to HHC, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.


NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from mortuary to the church then to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. Please feel free to join the mission at any point.

1015 – Flag Line for dignified transfer of Hero to coach and KSU to Saint Elisabeth Catholic Church, 14655 Kittridge St. Van Nuys, CA 91405  https://goo.gl/maps/tQSFyyJy23G2

1045 – Flag line as family and our Hero enter the church

1200 – Flag line for transfer of Hero to coach prior to accompaniment to cemetery

1230 – KSU to cemetery (address not known at this time, this will be revealed prior to KSU, if you would like to meet at cemetery please call the Ride Captain for location)

1300 – Flag line and attendance at military honors

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
