The family of Robert C. Capps, 84 yrs of age, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service, it will be our honor to do so.
Robert "Bob" Capps enlisted in the US Army in 1952 and served in the Korean War. He was a Mortarman and was on the front lines when the cease fire was called and the War was over. He talked about how eerily quiet that moment was, years later. He was honorably discharged in 1954 at the rank of PFC.
In civilian life Bob became a tile contractor and did this for over 50 years before retirement. He was an avid NASCAR fan, attending as many races as he could. He was especially partial to Dale Jarrett.
Bob is survived by his daughter Patsi, her husband Dan, 1 granddaughter Deedra, 2 great grandchildren, and his sister Pat. He was also beloved "Uncle Bob" to numerous nieces and nephews.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
