The family of Laura D. Barbee, 31, US Army, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one at her final service.  We are honored to accept this invitation.

Laura joined the US Army in 2007 and retired in 2015. She was medically retired as a Sergeant. She completed 2 tours in Afghanistan.  She loved her country and served proudly. Countless soldiers have commented that Laura helped them to be better soldiers.

Laura was highly decorated:   Combat Action medal, Army commendation medal,  Army achievement medal(3rd award), Army good conduct medal(2nd award), Meritorious Unit commendation, National Defense Service medal, Army Service medal,  Afghanistan campaign medal/w campaign star(2nd award), Overseas service ribbon(2nd award),  NATO medal.

Laura loved to ride her Harley.  She was full of love and life.  She had an infectious laugh and a huge smile gracing her face.  Laura touched many lives and was a great mentor. She had an eye for seeing a need, and then proceeded to meet those needs.

Laura is survived by her parents Dale and JoAnne Barbee and numerous brothers, sisters, Aunts, Uncles, and other family members.
