This is Part 2 of a 2 Part mission.

Part 1 was Tuesday, 28 NOV.

The family of CPO Jason C Finan, 34, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Chief Finan, a native of Anaheim, enlisted in the US Navy in 2003.   He served aboard the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan before being selected for training as an explosive ordinance disposal technician.

Chief Finan was serving in Iraq with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Mobile Unit Three alongside Navy SEALs and other American special forces in an advisory role to the coalition force supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.  He was directing American and Iraqi forces away from a roadside bomb he had spotted when he was killed.

Chief Finan is survived by his wife, his 7 year old son and his extended family.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero and family from the mortuary to the church service and then to the cemetery.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
