The family of ADJC Lloyd Dalton Barker, Jr., USN Retired, has invited the PGR to participate in honoring his life and service to his country. It will be a great honor to do so.

Lloyd was born on 08 January 1926 in Dundee, Mississippi and entered into Eternal Rest on 27 June 2019 in Corona.

Lloyd enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served twenty-one and a half years. Included in his many awards/citations were five Good Conduct Awards. Lloyd was stationed at NAS, Miramar when he was honorably retired in 1976.  Lloyd retired as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate (Jet Engine Mechanic) Chief Petty Officer

In civilian life, Lloyd, worked as a Freight Supervisor another twenty years in the Bakersfield area.

Lloyd was a widower with no immediate family and had been living at the residence of his late girlfriend Barbara’s son Paul and daughter-in-law Carley Beakes.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
