The family of Rudolfo Sifuentes, 83, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him for his military service.  It is our honor to do so.

Rudy was born on August 20, 1936 and passed away September 1, 2019.

Rudy proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Marines Corps from January 1954 to August 1960.  He was a Sgt E5 at the time of his honorable discharge.

Rudy joined the Corps in 1954 and was sent to Korea after ICT; he was only 17 years old.  His favorite duty station was Iwakuni, Japan, where he re-upped in 1956. His time in the Corps was the most exciting time in his life and he always told of his experiences.

Rudy was a jack of all trades, but his calling was a Bus Operator for Los Angeles RTD/MTA for 30 years. He loved to watch College and NFL games, bar-b-que and travel with his family.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margie, his siblings Nick, Lucy and Minerva, his children Rudy Jr., Yolanda, Vincent and Daniel, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
